PolicyEngine is built atop a series of Python packages that users can engage with to run tax and benefit reform policy simulations. These structures are quite complex and require significant documentation, but prior to this project, PolicyEngine lacked a uniform way of displaying documentation to Python package users. This project simplifies that by taking our existing Python documentation and running it on our front end without the need to rewrite the documentation into JavaScript. This documentation also contains charts that will to be re-run every time our underlying model changes, and is integrated with self-hosted Python Streamlit applications.
